A concrete driveway is only as good as what is underneath it. Most of the cracked, sunken driveways we replace failed because the base was thin, poorly compacted, or never drained. That is why the base preparation is the part of the job we care about most.
We build new driveways, replace worn ones, and widen or extend existing driveways for homeowners throughout Northwest Ohio — from a single-car approach to a long country drive.

Driveway Work We Do
- New concrete driveways where there is gravel or nothing today.
- Full replacement: tear-out, haul-off, new base, and a new pour.
- Extensions and widening for an extra parking spot, a turnaround, or a wider approach to the garage.
- Garage aprons and approaches tied cleanly into an existing slab.
What Goes Into a Driveway That Lasts
- Excavation to firm subgrade, then compacted base stone sized for the soil and the loads it will carry.
- Slope set so water runs away from the house and garage instead of across or under the slab.
- Control joints placed so the concrete cracks where we want it to, not across the middle of a panel.
- A finish and cure suited to Ohio freeze-thaw winters.
How Projects Get Started
- Tell us about the project: what you want built, where it is, your rough budget, and when you would like it done.
- We talk through scope and budget by phone first, so a site visit is scheduled only when the project is a good fit and the numbers are realistic.
- After the site visit you receive a written proposal with a clear scope, so you know what is included before anything is scheduled.

Common Questions
How long before I can drive on a new driveway?
Usually about a week in normal weather, longer in cold weather. Foot traffic is fine sooner. We give you specific guidance for your pour.
Can you pour over my existing gravel?
Not directly. Loose gravel is not a base. We excavate, place and compact proper base stone, then pour.
Can you widen my driveway without replacing all of it?
Often, yes, if the existing concrete is in good shape. We look at it during the site visit and tell you honestly whether widening or replacing makes more sense.
